The 306th Museum Thurleigh has resumed pre-Covid opening times, from the first Sunday of July 2021 through October 2021: Open Sundays 10am until 4pm.
An appointment system allows advance reserving for individual bookings at mutually agreeable times, by contact with John Watson-Read. He is our Liaison with the 306th BG Museum, Thurleigh, England. His email: spikeread@hotmail.com. He will see that Americans will have access to the Memorial (in front of the Museum) and the Museum by appointment. They are not in view from the public road, and are situated on restricted-access property,
Regrettably, the museum's founder-operator passed away on March 24th 2019, preceded in death by his wife Daphne; however, in 2019 others stepped up to reopen it's doors. Now under UK law the Museum is a limited company: "306th Bomb Group Museum Ltd." and they produce a Newsletter (links below).
